We know Matthew 28:19-20 is not just a suggestion. It’s a command from Jesus to “go and make disciples of all nations.” And we know that He uses His church as the primary way to fulfill it.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ~ Acts 1:8
Local Missions Our Jerusalem is anywhere we live and travel in a typical day. It can be our community, work, school, & even our home. There are many ways you can serve and meet needs here in our local community. North American Missions If Jerusalem relates to people who live near us and are like us, then our Judea & Samaria are people that live farther away. Some of them are like us and some of them are vastly different with different cultural backgrounds, traditions and beliefs. 259 million people living in the United States and Canada have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. North America is the largest English speaking mission field today. Partnerships are being developed throughout various regions of North America to faithfully pursue the Acts 1:8 mission and to work toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission! International Missions In Acts 1:8, Jesus shared his vision for reaching the world by mobilizing his Church to reach people near and far. Acts 1:8 guides us to develop partnerships in all areas as God leads and provides. To the disciples the “ends of the earth” was unknown at that time. Today we can travel the world at the speed of sound and communicate with anyone anywhere through a wireless device in the palm of our hand. Today 1.6 billion people still have little to no access to the Gospel in their language. Yet the call to GO and make disciples of ALL nations is a call we must obey. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Throughout the Bible we see a clear pattern of God calling and sending His followers. And God wants to send you as well. As believers, we are a people sent by God to carry the message of God’s love, mercy and redemption through His son Jesus Christ. That is missions at its core.
The question then becomes how do we best go about carrying that message. We believe the evidence is clear we are sent to reach new people best through starting new churches. Through a coordinated national strategy we call Send North America, our goal is to help move churches and individuals into all regions of North America to do just that.
