Erby Burgess, Senior Pastor

Erby Burgess is a husband, dad, grandpa and pastor.  He enjoys sports, the outdoors, mysteries and numerous varieties of cookies.  Leading people to find their fulfillment in Christ Jesus is his calling and passion. He is a loving leader and serves others with is whole heart.
Erby and Suzanne both sing on our praise team. Suzanne is a retired school counselor and you see her compassion for others shine in so many areas.
Their loving heart for others is evident in everything they do.

Elliot Blackmon, Children's Minister

Elliot began his bi-vocational ministry November 2011 having been a life-long member of FBC.  He is employed by Blackmon Oil.  He is married to Sarah, and they are the proud parents of daughters Ella and Aubrey, and a son, Andrew.  Sarah plays a vital assistant role in the Children’s Ministry.  They lead our Awana program as well as our Childrens Church. Romans 8:28 is Elliot’s favorite verse.   He is also an avid Razorback fan. 
Sarah is an Occupational Therapist during the day, she works closely with many children in the community.  Sarah also lovingly leads our children's choir.

Dustin Forsythe, Student Pastor

Dustin Forsythe and his wife Mikayla were married in May of 2020. Together they are expecting their first child, a boy, in May 2023. Dustin has a great passion for sharing Jesus with all generations, but especially 7th through 12th grade students.  Dustin believes that the only true peace and contentment we could ever experience in our lives comes from a relationship with Jesus. Dustin loves sports, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors related. Mikayla works as a speech therapist and is highly active in various areas of the Student Ministry.

Brian Mount- Custodian
​Kelli Mount- Nursery Director

Brian and Kelli are long time members of FBC Glenwood. They have 3 adult children who are incredible leaders! Kelli and Brian both have a servant heart and passion for serving and leading others to the Lord. On Sundays and Wednesdays Kelli can often be found with a baby in her arms and a smile on her face. Brian is not only our custodian, but he also leads in many other ways from teaching Sunday School to the 5th -6th graders, helping with Awana, and so much more.

Debbi Hicks - Education Secretary

 Debbi loves her church family and serves as a 'part-time' church clerk when she isn't being retired (having fun) with her husband Jim. She is responsible for putting out the weekly newsletter, prayer lists, and church bulletin. She maintains the Sunday School records and updates the church's Facebook and web site pages. Debbi and Jim have 2 adult children, Caleb (Jenn) and Shelby (Brandon). They love being Nonnie and Popo to all seven of their grandchildren and really enjoy being 'running buddies' with all their fabulous friends. We are so blessed!

Joy Welch- Financial Secretary

Joy is the smiling face you will see as you enter our office. She is responsible for all of the day-to-day office operations and keeping up with all church financials. Joy has 3 adult children, Darlene lives in Batesville and is a preschool teacher in Newport, Brandon lives in Ashdown and has a bread route in south Arkansas/north Texas, Bethany lives in Glenwood and librarian at Delight public library.  Joy also has 4 precious grandchildren. Her heart for the Lord is so present in all she does for everyone on a daily basis.
