WHAT IS DNOW?
“DNow” stands for Disciple Now. In its simplest form, a Disciple Now weekend is a retreat for a youth ministry. While many do some form of a retreat for students, there are a few distinctions that provide a unique environment for your students to grow spiritually:
- *Discipleship Oriented
- *Host Homes & Small Groups
- *Church/Community Focused
- *Service Opportunities
DNow Weekends point students deeper into relationship with Jesus and deeper into relationship with their peers by bringing the gospel into their lives.
We have an amazing speaker and worship band for this event!
We have host homes for all of our students.
We will separate by age/grade and gender and sleep at Christian homes within the church Friday and Saturday night.
An adult leader will be with each group the entire weekend at the homes and church to lead them in small group breakout sessions after each message given by the speaker. Parents will be given the small group leader contact info and group home address.
Check in is Friday Jan 21st at 6pm in the main foyer and pick up is after worship service on Sunday which begins at 10:15. You will not want to miss the service. Students will be asked to wear the provided T-Shirt to worship on Sunday.
~All meals and snacks will be provided.~
